My 105th entry ~Mijn 105e bijdrage
|
Hello and good morning, -afternoon, -evening, dear people who all participate is this wonderful photomeme, which is a joy to me, week after week, after week. I’m always curious to what you come up with!
The challenging letter of this week is the H and I’ve chosen for the word Height
That I love to visit zoo’s is quit well known by most of the people who follow me by now, I guess. During a trip in my ‘to-the-south-neighbor -country Belgium, my daughter in law and I went to Pairi Daiza. It is the most beautiful zoo I’ve ever seen so far. I know all the zoo’s but 2 in The Netherlands, I know 1 in Tallinn (Estonia) and I now 2 in Germany. In Paira Daiza you can find lots and lots of buildings en statues. The one you see on the photo is very very large, much larger then I am. (on bare feet I measure 1.78 cm) … I chose a photo on which I am visible to give you an idea of its height. Isn’t it enormous? Somewhere coming fall we want to visit it again for obvious reasons but also because of the fact that they have Chinese Panda’s and that one of those gave birth june 2nd.
Have a nice ABC-Wednesday-day / – week ~ ♫ M e l o d y ♫ (ABC-W-team)
~♫ M e l o d y ♫ (ABC-W-team)
What an amazing statue! It’s good you’re in it to show the perspective – remember I did that when my friend and I sat with the statue in Scarborough (my F post). Have a heavenly week, Melody.

Yes isn’t it?
Thank you Leslie, for you the same!!
Very imressive statues! Suiting the meme too.
Happy ABCW!
Indeed Indrani, my thoughts exactly
thank you, you too.
How amazing! Glad to see the lovely photo of you too.
The statues are Huge.
Yes isn’t it?
😉 Not the most recent on, my gravatar shows a photo of today,
Indeed they are, enormous!
The image shows impressive perspective of height.
Thank you Rajesh, that was my intention
Dit beeld is indrukwekkend en lijkt Aziatisch. Mooi, Melody!
Ja hè? Is het volgens mij ook hoor. Dank je wel Wil.
Those statues make you seem even shorter!
ROG< ABCW
haha yes they do 😉
But real height is not a measure for ones character is it 😉
xxx
Hey, even your comment form is amazing, let alone the fascinating image you shared with us!
Hey Nonnie
Thank you for your sweet comment!
What an unusually lovely statue.
My ABC WEDNESDAY
Unusual it is to me too Ewok, nice to see we agree on that 😉
Oooh ~ love your header and fantastic elephant photo! Thanks for visiting and
Happy Week to you ~ ^_^
Thank you Artmusedog and Carol
(if you want I can make you one…)
You’re welcome, thank you, likewise.
Oh yes, it certainly is a huge statue. I can understand your love of zoos – the ones who love and respect the animals and give them the most natlural living conditions possible.
Isn’t it 😉
Indeed those zoos are the one I love too
Very high indeed! Great shot of that sculpture.
Yes indeed… I don’t know how many meters up it is…
thank you
Hi Melody!
‘Height’ is a great choice for H, and the picture wonderfully compliments the same:)
I loved your post:)
Have a great week ahead:)
Hi Amit
Thank you for visiting and commenting in such a nice way.
Also for your kind wishes, wishing you the same!
I wish to go there sometime. Lovely statue
I totally can imagine that ! I can’t wait till we will go there again.
I agree 😉
Very nice capture.
Thank you Murthy
I like the flower ends to their trunks.
I can imagine, I do too
Beautiful picture with contrast and colors. I love your coat too.
Thank you Carin….
Yes 😉 me too, I have lots of red in my clothing.
That is one impressive statue.
Ann
Indeed Ann, and just one of many more
The statue is beautiful and very special ! Don’t call Pairi Daiza a Zoo, lol ! The owner and the people would be very upset. It is an animal park (parc animalier) Because they did everything that it doesn’t look like a zoo. You rather go from country to country, from China where the baby Panda is to India which hosts also elephants which had been abused by circuses !
Indeed Gattina.
😉 I can imagine that people would call it different but to me there is not much difference between “animal park” and “zoo” … in my language both words mean the same
But how ever one might call it, I think it is a wonderful place to be at!!
Wow! Those are gorgeous elephants. Be funny if the zoo housed the elephants beneath them.
Indeed they are…
That is a wonderful idea but not the case… they have a large space in that zoo with lots of beautiful elephantstatues
Hi Melody! This was a great post! I enjoy visiting zoos, also! Do you thin the sculptures might be life-sized?
Hi Shady Gardener
Thank you!
Nice to read we enjoy the same activity 😉
No I don’t think so…they are far to big I guess
